Performance Enhancing Drug Testing
Performance Enhancing Drug Testing: At US Drug Testing Centers we offer steroid testing for individuals, athletes and in some cases for workplace where physical strength and performance are critical in daily tasks in jobs such as security, law enforcement and warehousing. Our comprehensive steroid testing panels screen for performance-enhancing drugs that include anabolic steroids, stimulants, narcotics, beta-blockers and diuretics that may be abused by athletes.
Date Rape Drug Testing
Date Rape Drug Testing: A big area of concern is date rape. All it takes is a simple pill, from a prescription or illicit drug to an over-the-counter allergy medication, dropped into a beverage to cause a person to unknowingly lose their memory, inhibitions and consciousness. If an unfortunate situation should occur, we can provide testing with blood, urine or hair for drugs most commonly used in date rape situations through our basic or comprehensive Date Rape Testing Panels. “Date Rape” drugs are hypnotics, sedatives and other types of medications that cause a person to have lapses in memory; loss of motor control, consciousness and/or inhibitions; and slurred speech. Many times the pills are slipped into beverages. When mixed with alcohol, the effects of these drugs intensify.
Club Drug Testing
Club Drug Testing: The name implies what they are – drugs used in clubs. These are typically night clubs, rave parties and other music dance parties that last all night. Many times a lot of drugs are prevalent. Some of the common “club drugs” are Methamphetamine, Ecstasy, GHB, Ketamine, Rohypnol and LSD. Ecstasy is the drug most closely associated with the rave scene, and an increasingly popular one. Drug control officials are concerned that its use has spread from the smaller rave culture to the mainstream youth culture, as drug use becomes increasingly normalized among the current generation.
Street Drugs Testing
Street Drugs Testing: Two of the most commonly used street drugs are heroin and cocaine. Many people consider cocaine and heroin to be hard-core “street” drugs, but increasingly, younger people in all kinds of communities across the country are using these dangerous drugs. Heroin and cocaine both have a huge impact on the health of the brain and the body. Abuse of these drugs changes the brain. Both are illegal and highly addictive. Sometimes these drugs are used in combination and this is very dangerous.
Suboxone Drug Testing
Suboxone Drug Testing: Suboxone is a prescription medicine that contains the active ingredients buprenorphine and naloxone. It is used to treat adults who are dependent on (addicted to) opioids (either prescription or illegal). Buprenorphine is the primary active ingredient in suboxone. Buprenorphine has to be specifically tested for and is not commonly included on standard drug screen panels. Buprenorphine will NOT cause a positive result on tests for other opiates. Buprenorphine can be detected with drug tests for 7-10 days at typical doses, although this time could vary considerably with much higher or much lower doses along with the individual's metabolism rate.Read More
