US Drug Testing is pleased to announce the launch of our Electronic Equipment File system! Our software simplifies the management of equipment files, ensuring compliance during FMCSA audits, where Equipment and Driver Qualification files are critical to the investigation process. With our electronic files, you will have rapid access to essential equipment information, including VIN and Plate numbers, as well as expenses associated with maintaining registration, permits and fees. Additionally, our system allows for the tracking of maintenance expenses, roadside inspection violations, and accidents.

US Drug Test Centers Maintenance Tracking includes:

  • General equipment specification tracking
  • Mechanic specification and credentialing management
  • Vehicle maintenance recordkeeping
  • Vehicle repair recordkeeping
  • Annual and DOT roadside inspection recordkeeping
  • Accident report recordkeeping (including records of post-accident drug and alcohol testing when required by DOT)
  • Automated reminders! This includes upcoming vehicle maintenance, upcoming inspections, expiring registrations, and more.

In accordance with 49 CFR Part 396, it is mandatory to demonstrate that repairs have been made to a piece of commercial motor vehicle equipment, following a roadside inspection prior to the next dispatch, where equipment violations were detected. Our equipment files facilitate this process, enabling easy tracking and the generation of work orders based on recent roadside inspections that resulted in violations.

Moreover, vital information regarding your equipment is readily available when coordinating repairs with external vendors. This software not only streamlines equipment maintenance records but also helps prevent costly repairs by enabling effective tracking of repairs and identifying potential driver abuse issues.
