History

Unbeknownst to many, modern-day San Antonio was first a Coahuiltecan Indian Village. In 1691, Spanish explorers and missionaries discovered a river on Saint Anthony's Day, naming it the San Antonio River. In 1718, the city was established as a Spanish military post - what became known as the Alamo. Later, the city became a center for cattle ranching and attracted large numbers of immigrants, especially from Germany and Czechoslovakia.

Fort Sam Houston is the headquarters for the U.S. Army Medical Command as well as the home of the Fifth Army. Some of its Air Force bases are Lackland, Brooks, and Randolph. He shows himself in the left upstairs window above the gift shop, high above the ground with no ledge that a person could stand on.

The San Antonio Paseo del Rio, also known as the River Walk, is one of the country's most famous (not to mention most picturesque) walks. The paths and stairways are made of cobblestone and were built in the 1930s as a federal project during the Depression years. Are employers in Texas able to use drug screening for any other claim defenses or state-specific financial benefits?
Yes. Employers may be able to leverage a ‘Rebuttable Presumption of Intoxication’ defense to a Workers’ Compensation Claim, based on a positive drug test result. A positive drug test or refusal to test may also make an employee ineligible for unemployment compensation when terminated for misconduct. Employers wishing to leverage either of these benefits must voluntarily comply with very detailed program rules.
Does Texas authorize marijuana (THC) or cannabidiol (CBD) use?
