Substance abuse can wreak havoc on families, communities, and businesses. On this page, learn more about how US Drug Test Centers works with businesses and individuals in Washington to keep drugs and alcohol at bay.
We partner with both DOT (Department of Transportation) and non-DOT companies in Washington to help them achieve and maintain a drug and alcohol-free workplace. This is especially vital considering the increase in cannabis use across the United States.
We do this in several ways:
We provide complete drug testing for controlled substances, including pre-employment drug testing (which is usually a requirement for job applicants before they can be hired), reasonable suspicion testing, random drug testing, post-accident testing, and return-to-duty drug testing.
US Drug Test Centers can craft your workplace drug testing policies.
We provide training for your staff, including your designated employer representative (DER).
US Drug Test Centers can conduct your background checks.
Drug testing and a robust policy are especially important for DOT companies and professionals in safety-sensitive positions. With safety-sensitive positions, there's an inherent and substantial risk involved in their duties. Substance abuse at work could lead to the employee, coworkers, and even the general public getting hurt.
We'll help you keep your team safe from controlled substances and also ensure compliance with state or federal laws.

We don't only partner with businesses. US Drug Test Centers also provides drug screening for individuals in Washington state who need it for legal reasons.
This includes child custody, DUI, and probation screening.
Our testing locations do not accept payment and require a drug test order form at the time of testing. Please click the "Order a Test" button to order your test. Once your order has been processed, your drug test order form will be emailed to you. Testing options may vary on a site by site basis. Additional fees may apply depending on your location.
We only work with SAMHSA-certified laboratories and have all test results confirmed by a medical review officer.
With drug testing locations spread throughout Washington, you never have to go far to find us. For speedy results, we offer instant urine drug testing and on-site mobile testing.
We can screen for dozens of illicit substances via hair, urine, and breath. Additionally, we have hundreds of drug test panels to choose from.

Substance abuse in Washington is a steady problem. Data tells us that 15.40% of adults 18 years of age and older binge drink once a month, if not more. They see 1,259 fatalities every single year due to drug overdoses. Specifically, every year, opioid overdoses kill about 737 individuals in the state.
There are approximately 514 functioning rehab facilities in Washington, but the cost is steep. For example, inpatient rehabilitation is $56,539 per individual, which can be incredibly prohibitive. Outpatient rehabilitation typically costs about $1,704.
What makes us different from other testing providers?
For starters, we only work with SAMHSA-certified laboratories. These labs are held to higher standards when it comes to their processes and equipment.
Additionally, we get all test results verified by a medical review officer (MRO), who is a licensed physician. For example, let's say you have an employee test positive, but that individual suspects that their prescription medication triggered the result. An MRO will confirm.
We can screen for a large number of controlled substances, including cannabis use, PCP, Rohypnol, barbiturates, suboxone, cocaine, steroids, amphetamines, and ecstasy. We can even test for the presence of heavy metals.
If you think you've been poisoned but don't know what you consumed, ask us about unknown substance testing.
Testing can be conducted via urine, hair, and breath.
Urine is the most common choice. However, hair follicle drug testing is harder to cheat (since the entire test is monitored by the collector) and offers a longer lookback window.
This means that hair follicle testing is more appropriate if you're trying to detect a history of drug abuse.
If you're not sure what type of test you need, or if you can't find the panel you're looking for on our website, contact us and we'll be happy to assist you.
We have more than 20,000 locations nationwide, so we're never more than a short drive away.
Furthermore, we offer instant/POCT drug testing, where negative results are returned the same day. Also, we provide mobile/onsite drug testing, where a collector will meet you (or your employee) within two hours to conduct testing for controlled substances.
Find a testing center near you, or order your test online.
Whether you want to order pre-employment testing for job applicants, want to ensure compliance with your safety-sensitive employees, need to conduct a background investigation or security clearance on an applicant, or suspect that there might be cannabis use in your workplace, we're here to help!
If you're an employer, we'll help you maintain a drug- and alcohol-free workplace. If you're an individual, we'll work together to handle your screening needs.
