Drug Testing Washington State — For Employers and Employees

We partner with both DOT (Department of Transportation) and non-DOT companies in Washington to help them achieve and maintain a drug and alcohol-free workplace. This is especially vital considering the increase in cannabis use across the United States.

We do this in several ways:

    • We provide complete drug testing for controlled substances, including pre-employment drug testing (which is usually a requirement for job applicants before they can be hired), reasonable suspicion testing, random drug testing, post-accident testing, and return-to-duty drug testing.

    • US Drug Test Centers can craft your workplace drug testing policies.

    • We provide training for your staff, including your designated employer representative (DER).

    • US Drug Test Centers can conduct your background checks.

Drug testing and a robust policy are especially important for DOT companies and professionals in safety-sensitive positions. With safety-sensitive positions, there's an inherent and substantial risk involved in their duties. Substance abuse at work could lead to the employee, coworkers, and even the general public getting hurt.

We'll help you keep your team safe from controlled substances and also ensure compliance with state or federal laws.

Learn more about our services for non-DOT and DOT companies, or order your drug tests online to keep your workplace free of illicit substances.

    Drug Screening for Individuals

We don't only partner with businesses. US Drug Test Centers also provides drug screening for individuals in Washington state who need it for legal reasons.

This includes child custody, DUI, and probation screening.

    Why Partner With Us?

What makes us different from other testing providers?

    Accuracy is a Top Priority

For starters, we only work with SAMHSA-certified laboratories. These labs are held to higher standards when it comes to their processes and equipment.

Additionally, we get all test results verified by a medical review officer (MRO), who is a licensed physician. For example, let's say you have an employee test positive, but that individual suspects that their prescription medication triggered the result. An MRO will confirm.

    A Wide Variety of Choices

We can screen for a large number of controlled substances, including cannabis use, PCP, Rohypnol, barbiturates, suboxone, cocaine, steroids, amphetamines, and ecstasy. We can even test for the presence of heavy metals.

If you think you've been poisoned but don't know what you consumed, ask us about unknown substance testing.

Testing can be conducted via urine, hair, and breath.

Urine is the most common choice. However, hair follicle drug testing is harder to cheat (since the entire test is monitored by the collector) and offers a longer lookback window.

This means that hair follicle testing is more appropriate if you're trying to detect a history of drug abuse.

If you're not sure what type of test you need, or if you can't find the panel you're looking for on our website, contact us and we'll be happy to assist you.
